Chrissy Teigen's Skin-Care Routine: How Much It Costs

If you’re someone who dreams of taking a peek at the products inside your favorite celebrity’s skin-care routine, Chrissy Teigen just granted your wish. On Feb. 21, the star posted an Instagram Reel detailing the steps in her regimen and the products she’s been using since she and John Legend welcomed their baby daughter Esti into the world on Jan. 31. Her caption reads, “everyone* has been asking me about my skincare routine post baby! my skin is still finding its way so I keep it easy peasy with a few of my favorites that I use every single morning.” She then tagged the brands she uses and wrapped up the caption by amending her statement by clarifying that “*no one at all” inquired.

All jokes aside, we can assure Teigen that we are, in fact, interested in her post-pregnancy beauty routine. In the video — soundtracked to Mariah Carey‘s “It’s a Wrap” — Teigen slathers, rubs, and douses herself in various serums, creams, and oils. After showering, she uses five products in total, ranging in price from drugstore to luxury. One of the heroes in her arsenal is from Legend’s new skin-care brand, Loved01, which just launched in January. She also uses a product from her aesthetician Shani Darden‘s skin-care line. (In addition to Teigen, Darden’s clients include Jessica Alba, Shay Mitchell, and Madelaine Petsch, to name a few.) The grand total of her routine rings in at $385.

Toward the end of the quick video, Teigen brushes up her eyebrows — which are looking extra full and fluffy thanks to the eyebrow transplant surgery she underwent back in November 2021 — and blows a kiss to the camera.

For a closer look at (and to shop) all of the products Teigen uses in her skin-care video, keep scrolling for the full rundown.

iS Clinical Pro-Heal Serum Advance Plus

The very first product Teigen uses in her routine is the iS Clinical Pro-Heal Serum Advance Plus ($158), which features time-released vitamin C for a dose of antioxidants. The serum not only brightens (as most vitamin C serums do) but also addresses acne, rosacea, and inflammation. It’s suitable for all skin types, including those with sensitive or compromised skin.

Shani Darden Skin Care Retinol Reform Treatment Serum

The product Teigen uses from her aesthetican’s line is the Shani Darden Skin Care Retinol Reform Treatment Serum ($88). Encapsulated retinol in the serum makes the formula non-irritating. That, combined with AHAs, helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles and improve the skin’s overall tone.

Just be careful when using retinol in the morning. It’s best to use this powerful ingredient in your nighttime routine, because it can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. You also shouldn’t use this product while pregnant or nursing.

Loved01 Toning Mist

The Loved01 Toning Mist ($10) that Teigen sprays on her face and chest is from Legend’s skin-care brand. It’s formulated with chamomile, lavender, and aloe vera to calm skin, witch hazel to target pores, and a blend of oils (like jojoba and rosehip) to hydrate.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

Last but not least, she applies a layer of the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask ($24), a cult classic, to her lips. This is an overnight mask that can also be worn during the day as a lip balm to keep dryness at bay.
